Educational Background: John has an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from the Santa Rosa Junior College. He was also awarded dipolmas for cabinet making and millwork and commercial and residential construction programs frim Milwaukee Technical College.
Career History: John served in the United States Army as a Military Police Specialist 1968-1970. John also owned and operated Keller Custom Woodworks with his wife Susan from 1976-2006. John's fire service started as a Volunteer Firefighter for the Graton Fire District in 1981, promoted to Captain in 1983 and continued service through 1991. John returned to the fire service in 2013 to serve as the Fire Logistics Courier for Rincon Valley Fire District, Windsor Fire Department and the Santa Rosa Fire Department. John now works exclusively for Sonoma County Fire District providing courier service to all our stations and the administrative office.
