Bio: Ryan is a second generation firefighter and lives in Santa Rosa with his wife and four kids. When not working, he enjoys traveling, camping, fishing and baseball.

Educational Background: Ryan holds an Associate's Degree in Fire Science from Columbia University and is currently working on his Bachelor's Degree in Fire Administration.
Career History: Ryan started in the fire service as a fire explorer in 1995 with the Rincon Valley Fire District. He became a Volunteer Firefighter for Rincon Valley in 1997 and worked up through the ranks to Volunteer Lieutenant in 1999, and then to Captain in 2018. Ryan was hired as a full-time Apparatus Engineer for the Russian River Fire Protection District in 2006 and promoted to Captain in 2010. He continued volunteering until Russian River Fire was annexed into Sonoma County Fire District in 2020.
